If you were planning to catch a nighttime performance of the famous Fantasmic! show in Disneyland this April, you might need to rethink your plans.

Just recently, on April 22nd, there was an incident during Disneyland’s Fantasmic! performance. The fire-breathing Maleficent dragon unexpectedly caught on fire, causing the show to end early.

There’s lots of fire involved with this show!

Luckily, no one was hurt, and the fire department was able to quickly respond to the scene.

Now, it seems like subsequent shows will be canceled as Disney works to repair the Maleficent dragon. According to the Disneyland website, there are no showtimes listed from April 23rd through April 27th.

Currently, performances are set to resume on Friday, April 28th, though the schedule is subject to change.

We will continue to monitor the status of the show, so be sure to stay tuned for updates.
