This NEW Tiana-Inspired Dessert in Disney World Made Us Wish For More

Calling all dreamers, snackers, and sweet treat connoisseurs!

We found a dessert at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, and it’s great for those of you wishing for something sweet — especially if you love Princess Tiana and tropical flavors.

Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Port Orleans — French Quarter is home to quick-service snacks, sandwiches, and desserts! We found the Wishing on Stars Cake here, and we just had to try it. We love Princess Tiana, so we were hoping she wouldn’t let us down with this snack!

The Wishing on Stars Cake is a mango mousse with coconut-lime gelée, coconut glaze, and décor fit for a princess! You can grab this treat for $6.29.

Our first impression was that the presentation of this snack is VERY appealing! The green, yellow, and white exterior plays a yummy-looking tribute to Tiana’s dress! This delightful-looking dessert is Instagram-ready! Let’s cut into it and see what the inside looks like.

The inside is layered with yellow and white layered mousse. It looks delicious! Our mouths were watering at this point, so we finally took a bite.

WOW! Immediately, we were hit with a mango flavor, followed by coconut. Mango is definitely the most prominent flavor in the dessert, and the coconut compliments it perfectly! The coconut flavor isn’t at all overwhelming. Plus, the thin layer of cake at the bottom is light and doesn’t take away from the star of this dessert — the mousse.

If you love mango and coconut, this dessert is a must-try! On the other hand, if you’re not a fan of mango, coconut, or the texture of mousse, this one might be a skip. Overall, we really enjoyed this dessert and thought it was light and delicious!
