If you’re a fan of Star Wars, Toy Story, or old Hollywood glam, you’ll love Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We visit the park almost every day to check out the rides, crowds, snacks, merchandise, and more so that we can let you know what changes on a day-to-day basis.
Come along with us to check out a bunch of new souvenirs and learn about the UPDATED opening timeline of a new restaurant coming to Hollywood Studios soon!
Hollywood Studios Construction Update
Roundup Rodeo BBQ
Roundup Rodeo BBQ is a NEW table service restaurant coming to Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios. Andy from Toy Story has created a rodeo scene in his backyard, and guests are invited to go inside and check it out while they chow down on barbecue fare. The menu will include “barbecue-inspired comfort foods served family-style, with platters of house-smoked meats, a roundup of sides, and some miniature sweet surprises along the way.”
The new restaurant was initially supposed to open in 2022, but Disney recently announced that the opening date has been pushed back to the Spring of 2023.
We’re keeping an eye on the construction site for Roundup Rodeo BBQ, and we recently noticed that some new flags have been added to the top of the entrance area. (You can see the flags in the concept art shown above, too.)
We’ll keep watching for more news about this upcoming spot!
