We stopped by Flo’s V-8 Cafe in Disney’s California Adventure to try the new Gingerbread Shake, made with whipped topping and a gingerbread cake doughnut for $10.99. It’s available from November 11th through January 8th, 2022.
Okay, we’re not exaggerating when say this shake has a STRONG ginger flavor. As much as we love ginger, we actually thought it was a little too much, and we weren’t a huge fan of just the shake. Still, ginger is good for nausea, so maybe this is good to order after a ride on Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree?
But the gingerbread cake doughnut, however, was incredible! It was moist with a mild gingerbread flavor and the frosting added a bit of sweetness. But if you want to enjoy the shake, you have to REALLY love gingerbread. You could always order it solely for the doughnut but at $10.99, this is a pricey dessert.
