The holidays have OFFICIALLY begun in Disney World — it’s the first night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!
If you’re looking for an exclusive holiday offering in Disney World, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed event in Magic Kingdom, featuring special holiday entertainment on select evenings in November and December. The party lasts from 7PM to midnight and amid all the festive celebrations and entertainment, you can also enjoy some exclusive treats! We’re taking you with us to try not one but THREE holiday menu items, and if you like sweets, you’ll want to hear about these.
These three treats are only available during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments. We’re starting out with the new Funnel Cake Sundae, made with peppermint ice cream, M&M’S chocolate candies, and hot fudge served on funnel cake for $8.49.
The peppermint ice cream on this funnel cake is pretty tasty! It has a nice peppermint flavor without tasting like toothpaste. It was also very sweet.
The M&Ms added a nice crunch and the hot fudge was a great compliment to the peppermint flavor. The funnel cake itself is just a regular funnel cake. The combo of the peppermint and hot fudge reminded us of the peppermint mocha drink from Starbucks, so if you like that, you will probably like this!
If you love chocolate and peppermint together, grab this treat at the party. And, it’s big enough to share!
Next up is the new Sandy Claws Peppermint Mousse Treat, which comes with white chocolate peppermint mousse with a chocolate fudge center, chocolate Santa hat, and a Jack Skellington face for $7.99.
This treat tasted like a York peppermint patty at first, and then like more of a butter mint. It’s very minty, but the chocolate helped balance everything out.
It’s super sweet and rich, so it’s a good one to share. The theming is also so fun! We love seeing Jack Skellington for both Halloween and the holidays.
And finally, the Apple Cider Float is back, and it’s made with apple cider topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and sprinkled with cinnamon for $5.99.
This float is delicious, especially if you’re a fan of apple cider. It has that nice crisp apple taste and the vanilla ice cream is really delicious once it’s melted down and mixed into the cider more. The cinnamon on top adds a nice holiday flavor.
This treat is pretty sweet, though! If you like apple cider, we would definitely recommend grabbing this one! But, if you don’t like apple cider, don’t waste your money on it.
Stick with us as we take you with us for everything there is to enjoy at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Stay tuned for even more party-exclusive treat reviews!
