FIRST LOOK at Disneyland’s Halloween Fireworks

Halloween Time is a BIG deal in Disneyland, and the resort goes ALL OUT for the spooky season.

Halloween in Disneyland

Not only do both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure get dressed up for the season, but there is a TON of spooky merchandise, a LOT of treats, ride overlays, and a Halloween fireworks show on select nights. Now we’ve got your FIRST look at those fireworks!

We attended a media preview event last night and got a chance to see the Halloween Screams fireworks in Disneyland Park. We watched from the end of Main Street, U.S.A. (and yes, the Mickey pumpkin’s face glowing in the dark just set the spooky scene!).

Our viewing spot

The fireworks show features an introduction by Jack Skellington and Zero. Then it’s time for flames, creepy projections, Disney villains, and more!

Halloween Screams!

The soundtrack features Halloween-themed music, including songs from A Nightmare Before Christmas, villains songs like Poor Unfortunate Souls and Cruella de Vil, Haunted Mansion numbers like Grim Grinning Ghosts, and more!

We love Disney fireworks!

Other songs include The Skeleton DanceHeffalumps and WoozlesOogie Boogie’s Song, and I Put A Spell On You (can’t be Halloween without some Hocus Pocus, right?).

So cool

If you’d like to catch Halloween Screams for yourself, be sure to check the Disneyland website or app for dates and showtimes during your trip!

If you’re planning on heading to Disneyland for Halloween, you’ll need to know that all Oogie Boogie Bash dates are sold out, but there are still plenty of other things to see and do to keep a Halloween-loving soul happy in Disneyland.

We do this because it’s important to us as journalists to ensure not only that we give you unbiased opinions, but also that you can trust us to do so since we’re paying our own way. On rare occasions, when we are invited by a company to attend a preview as media, and when we choose to accept that invitation, we will always make you, our readers, aware of that situation. Recently, we were invited by Disneyland to attend their media preview for the Halloween season. Note that when we attend events as media we are 1) Not required to review that event/food on any of our channels, and 2) Not required to review that event/food favorably. You can always count on DFB to give you a 100% unbiased and honest review of any event that we attend, food that we eat, or beverage that we drink. You can see more in our Disclosure Policy.
