No matter how much you plan, sometimes things can still go awry in Disney World.
The weather can be unpredictable, shows might have technical difficulties, and attractions can malfunction leading to temporary closures. Guests riding one popular EPCOT attraction were in for a different kind of ride recently when it unexpectedly broke down — so come get evacuated from Test Track with us!
Test Track is a popular thrill ride at EPCOT that takes guests through a series of tests on vehicles they “design.” The most exciting part of the ride comes at the end when your vehicle is launched at speeds of 60+ miles per hour.
But recently, guests weren’t able to race to the finish line as the attraction malfunctioned causing an evacuation! Thanks to our pal Tyler for sending over photos and video — you can see the car was just about to launch out of the tunnel into the speed test, but never quite got that far.
After waiting for a bit, Cast Members began coming around to escort passengers from the ride.
By the looks of it, guests were guided off the attraction and walked down the actual ride tracks to the exit.
There were quite a few people riding Test Track when it broke down, and everyone had to follow in a single-file line.
