Happy Halloween, DFB Friends!
Yes, it’s August, but the Halloween decorations have arrived in Magic Kingdom, the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has happened, and Halloween snacks have hit the parks! So that officially makes it spooky season, right? While we’ve been busy enjoying all the Halloween festivities, we’ve also popped into the Disney World hotels to see what’s new!
Disney’s Contemporary Resort Merchandise Updates
The Villains Spirit Jersey we first spotted in Disneyland has arrived! The front has Disney villains on it…
…while the back says “Up to no good!” This spirit jersey is $74.99.
We also spotted a cute Minnie Backpack in case you’re looking for a bag to carry your things around the parks.
The backpack is $39.99.
If you’re a Disney Vacation Club member, you can get an exclusive Halloween DVC Pin!
The pin is $9.99.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Merchandise Updates
Well, it’s that time of the year — the 2023 Disney World Calendar has arrived. That’s right, pack up your 2022 stuff. It’s time to move on to the next year already (well, almost!).
The calendar is $16.99.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Construction Updates
The construction over where Spirit of Aloha used to be is still going on.
This will eventually be a new DVC building! We’ll continue to look for updates on this in the coming months.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort Merchandise Updates
At Sandy Cove, we again spotted the 2023 calendar, along with some other items, including some new-to-us Alex and Ani Bangle Bracelets. There’s Belle for $54.99…
…Ohana for $49.99…
…and Aladdin for $59.99.
Are you in need of a new Pink Sparkle Notebook?
Grab this Disney-themed one now for $19.99.
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Construction Updates
The upcoming Boardwalk Deli has its sign up now!
The new restaurant has hours listed on Disney World’s website as of August 15th!
Thtat’s all that’s new for now. If you’re looking for a place to stay while you’re in Disney World, here are the best hotels for first-timers, as well as a complete ranking of ALL Disney World hotels!
Once you’ve chosen your hotel, making reservations is as easy as hopping on the Disney World website and booking that trip. But if you’d rather have a travel agent do it for you (and save you a lot of time — and even potentially some money!), we highly recommend our friends at Small World Vacations!
