Regular character meet and greets recently returned to Disney World, meaning you can hug your favorite characters again!
We’ve seen many of the meet and greets return, as well as a lot of character dining, but not everything has gone completely back to normal. We’ve also seen the return of parades alongside character cavalcades. In fact, a NEW character cavalcade debuted in Magic Kingdom earlier this year with a ton of fun and unique characters. And now, a VERY popular Disney character is going to join the cavalcade!
Mirabel from Disney’s Encanto will be making her debut in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade in Magic Kingdom! She will be joining the fun on June 26th, so you only have to wait a few more days to see her!
Mirabel hasn’t made any appearances in Disney World yet, only in Disneyland, so this will be her very first.
Mirabel will join characters like Miguel from Coco, Nick and Judy from Zootopia, Max Goof, Moana, and more in the cavalcade, which runs through Frontierland, Liberty Square, and down Main Street, U.S.A. several times each day.
If you want to see Mirabel in the Adventure Friends Cavalcade, make sure to check out the showtimes on My Disney Experience when you’re in Magic Kingdom so that you don’t miss it! There should be updated showtimes on the app every day.
Could this mean MORE Encanto could be coming to the Disney Parks soon?! Disneyland has already got the Mirabel meet and greet, and a spot for some characters in the Main Street Electrical Parade, but Disney World has pretty much only had smaller things like merchandise, short parts in shows, PhotoPass opportunities, and food for the movie until now. But, we have heard Disney executives say Encanto might be coming to the parks soon in a more significant way.
