Disney’s Diverting Our Attention Away from MagicBand+, and It’s Working…

Finding it hard to wait for MagicBand+ to officially release this summer? If so, you’re not alone.

MagicBand+ is Disney’s upgraded MagicBand system, and it comes with several upgrades like the ability to interact with the 50th Anniversary character statues and the opportunity to become a Bounty Hunter in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! But, if you’re not looking to upgrade to MagicBand+, that’s fine too — your classic MagicBand can still be used around Disney World even after the upgrade launches. And, if you’re in the market for a new MagicBand to add to your collection, you’ll want to see the new items we found in EPCOT today!

We stopped by Pin Trader’s at the front of EPCOT today and noticed they had some new MagicBands. None of these are MagicBand+ bands, but we almost don’t even care because the designs are so cute! The first two we found were inspired by EPCOT’s beloved dragon, Figment! Both of the Figment MagicBands are $34.99.

Figment MagicBands

The first MagicBand is white with colorful designs and is inspired by the Journey into Imagination with Figment ride. Of course, it features Figment and the year the attraction launched.

The other Figment MagicBand is for Annual Passholders! It’s bright yellow and features Figment posing while surrounded by creative symbols like music notes and paint buckets. It also says “Passholder” on it!

If you like Coco, then you’ll want to check out the Dante MagicBand! It’s a purple MagicBand with a pop of teal in the center. It shows Dante sitting like the good boy he is, surrounded by various artwork inspired by the movie. You can grab it for $29.99!

And we also spotted this Bo Peep MagicBand, which features some unique artwork. The MagicBand is pink and shows Bo Peep from Toy Story ready for action! This one also costs $29.99.
