There’s a lot going on in EPCOT these days!
With the recent opening of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, along with ongoing construction projects like Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana and the new CommuniCore Plaza and CommuniCore Hall areas, EPCOT really is being transformed into seemingly a whole new park! While we still have a while before we’ll be able to experience many of these new projects, we’re heading to EPCOT today to see what’s new in food, construction, and merchandise!
EPCOT Food Updates
The Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge in EPCOT is now back to self-service for drinks and food items.
Self-serve was previously unavailable in this location as a health & safety precaution.
EPCOT Construction Updates
As far as construction updates go, progress is chugging along at Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana. You can get a good view of this construction from the Monorail, and we recently saw that the rock work and structures are starting to pop up.
There’s also a new mural over by Journey Into Imagination With Figment that celebrates Pride Month! It has the word “Love” with Mickey Mouse and a rainbow gradient.
Outside of The Land pavilion and The Seas pavilion, the digital wait board that gives wait times for rides around the park has been updated and now has green sides.
And finally, we noticed some work being done on the barges used in Harmonious, the fireworks show that takes place at EPCOT nightly.
Disney did not share details about any maintenance or changes to the barges, but it looks like Harmonious showtimes are continuing like normal.
EPCOT Merchandise Updates
The Creations Shop was full of summer-y Stitch items when we were there recently. We saw this tie-dye Stitch hoodie…
…this Stitch can holder for $19.99…
…and this Stitch wooden organizer. The organizer is $39.99 and has previously been seen in Hollywood Studios. It’s a great way to pack your utensils for a summer picnic!
We also spotted some EPCOT International Flower and Garden merch that was late to the party! We’ve seen these garden stakes online, but now they’re available at Creations. They cost $14.99 for six stakes.
The Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction Mad Tea Party collection has been spotted in various places around Disney World, but we recently found the Loungefly backpack in Creations for $85.
If you’re looking for an insanely colorful pair of biker shorts, look no further than these Watercolor Cinderella Castle Biker Shorts. They are white shorts with watercolor splotches that make Cinderella Castle. They are $36.99.
We also saw a unique way to count down to your next Disney World trip (or any special event) with this Day Counter from the Be Happy Collection! It is $39.99 and has hanging numbers so you can count down the days until whatever you’re looking forward to!
And finally from Creations, we spotted this Mickey Wall Hook.
You can use it to hold your jacket (or maybe your latest pair of Minnie ears?). It is $19.99.
At Disney Traders, we spotted several new Marvel items like this shirt inspired by Thor: Love and Thunder. It’s available for $29.99.
We also saw this New Jersey Avengercon shirt. It is $36.99.

The Mjolnir purse can be yours for $29.99.
Art of Disney
Art of Disney sells unique Disney-themed art (makes sense), and we recently spotted some new pieces! First up, we saw this Donald Duck art print for $39.99! It shows Donald, along with a few other iconic ducks like Daisy and Scrooge McDuck!
We also saw this “Adventure Awaits” painting for $199 that shows Mickey and Pluto in Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye.
It’s made to look like the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland!
Treasures of Xandar
This magnet is $9.99 and pictures Rocket and Groot inside the Cosmic Rewind ride vehicle.
Port of Entry
At the Port of Entry, we spotted this America Chavez Bag.
It is $39.99.
SeaBase is the store located inside The Seas pavilion, which is the pavilion that houses The Seas With Nemo & Friends, Turtle Talk With Crush, and huge aquariums! When we were there recently, we spotted this Dory shirt.
It is yellow, has a picture of Dory on it with her iconic phrase “Just keep swimming!” You can grab it for $36.99.
Over at the Mexico pavilion, we spotted some new glassware. We spotted this pitcher for $34.99…
…the margarita glass for $19.99…
…the shot glass for $9.99…
…and the rocks glass for $14.99.
Each glass has the same design with a multi-colored Mickey in the middle, blue rim, and colorful flower patterns around the glass.
Mitsukoshi is one of the stores located in the Japan pavilion. Inside this massive store, we spotted this Gudetama (the lazy egg) rubber coin purse for $19.95.
And for fans of Animal Crossing, we spotted this cute cup!
The cup’s print features characters from the game and it has a green lid. It is $14.95.
There was a lot to see at Northwest Mercantile in the Canada pavilion! First up, we have the O’Canada Soapworks Hand and Body Lotion in the following fragrances: lavender, rose, honey, lemongrass, and rosemary, as well as an unscented version. Each bottle is $30.
There were also a lot of items available with the theme of The Great Outdoors! For example, we saw this magnet for $9.99…
…the cup for $39.99…
…this men’s t-shirt for $24.99…
…the Great Outdoors Backpack for $39.99…
…and the tie-dyed blue shirt for $24.99.
We also saw two vests: a white women’s-cut vest…
…and the gray men’s vest. Both vests are $64.99 and follow along with the “Great Outdoors” theme.
We also saw this white sport jacket that has a similar logo to the vests on the front. This jacket is $59.99.
This gray three quarter-zip jacket also has the same logo. It is $54.99.
If long sleeves aren’t your style (because let’s be honest, it’s Florida in June), we spotted this tank top for $24.99.
And finally, we have this kid’s hoodie. The front has Mickey dressed as a lumberjack…
…and the back has both Mickey AND Pluto and says “Best Day Ever.”
This jacket is available for $39.99.
