Here at Disney Food Blog, we love trying new food, if that wasn’t already obvious by our name.
We recently tried the completely REVAMPED menu at 50’s Prime Time Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a Supernova Pretzel from the Tomorrowland Pretzel Cart in Disneyland, and seven new snacks and treats from all over Disneyland that arrived for the summer. And today, we’re heading to Disney California Adventure to try another dish!
Today, we’re trying the Spicy Guacamole Bacon Burger from Flo’s V8 Cafe! By name alone, you can probably tell that this burger has a lot going on. It’s a 1/3 angus beef burger with spicy guacamole, bacon, cheddar, chipotle mayo and lettuce. It is served with either a mandarin orange or steak fries.
This thing sounds like a lot, and it is, but it’s absolutely delicious! The burger was juicy and not at all dry (which was a relief considering how dry some Disney quick service burgers can be). The guacamole was fresh and full of great avocado flavor with a little bit of a kick.
The spicy mayo added to the spice of the burger, but we couldn’t taste much of a mayonnaise flavor on the burger, just the spice! The lettuce was crispy and crunchy and added a nice bit of coolness to the burger, which was nice. The pieces of bacon were big and not at all skimpy, and overall, we just really enjoyed this burger.
If you like guacamole and a bit of spice, we think you’ll really like this burger. If you’re not a fan of guac, or don’t really like spicy, we would probably steer clear of this one. There are so many exciting new eats in Disneyland Resort this summer, so you have lots of options, like the Foot-long BBQ Pulled Pork Dog from Award Wieners also in Disney California Adventure!
If this sounds like the burger of your dreams, you can grab it for $15.49 over at Flo’s V8 Cafe in California Adventure. And as always, make sure to stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disneyland food updates!
