Nighttime spectaculars have returned to Disneyland, and there are a lot of ways to celebrate!
Guests can now enjoy the Disneyland Forever fireworks, World of Color, and the Main Street Electrical parade! Light-up popcorn buckets and sippers, dining packages, a merch collection, and new foods have popped-up all over Disneyland and Disney California Adventure in order to celebrate! Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe has quite a few new items inspired by the big event, and they’re just as colorful as the Nighttime Spectaculars!
We already tried the Mine Train-themed treat at Jolly Holiday, but recently we made our way back to check out the Parade Macaron! This macaron is $5.99 and is a yellow macaron filled with honey buttercream and lemon curd, topped with rainbow sprinkles and a Main Street Electrical Parade drum decoration!
This macaron was very sweet! Between the honey buttercream, the sprinkles, and the macaron cookies themselves, there was enough sugar to power the Main Street Electrical Parade! Okay, maybe that’s an exaggeration, but you get what we mean!
The good thing is that the lemon curd did a great job of cutting through some of the sweetness with a strong, fresh citrus taste. The lemon was definitely essential, and paired well with everything else in this macaron.
If you’re a fan of citrus and macarons, then make sure you head over to Jolly Holiday to give this treat a try. Want to make things even sweeter? Grab this treat and eat it while watching the Main Street Electrical Parade and its new finale!
